Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) for hair loss.
Losing your hair can be very frightening and frustrating process – especially for younger patients.
Hair loss can be caused by many different factors such as genetics, hormonal changes, nutrient deficiency, illness and stress.
PRP hair regrowth treatment is a medical procedure that uses platelets from your own blood that contain growth factors to help repair, strengthen and support the failing hair follicles so they can grow healthier, stronger hair.
Three sessions, four weeks apart are recommended.
Depending on the severity of hair loss, more sessions may be required but this will be assessed after the third session.
Results can be seen after three to six months and will depend on:
– Patient age
– Time since first hair loss
– Severity of hair loss
– Overall health
All medical procedures carry risk and PRP is no different. The risks of this treatment include, but are not limited to, bleeding, bruising, swelling and infection.

A deposit is required to secure your booking. All deposits are non-refundable except for the 30 minute free consultation.
Cancelling or rescheduling appointments with less than 48 hours notice will forfeit the deposit under any circumstances (sickness, running late, becoming pregnant etc). However, if you are sick and can provide a medical certificate, your deposit can remain on your file as a credit to be used at a later date.
A grace period of 10 minutes will be permitted for unforeseen delays you may encounter while traveling to your appointment. If you arrive after this grace period your appointment may be cancelled and deposit forfeited.
