Privacy Policy
Last updated: 22 August 2026 · Version 1.0
1. Introduction
My Body Clinic (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). By using our website, you agree to the terms of this policy.
2. Personal Information We Collect
- Contact Details: Name, email address, and phone number.
- Service Information: General information provided via our forms so we can answer your enquiry or quote work.
- Booking Information: Details required to schedule and manage your bookings.
- Technical Data: IP address, browser type and usage data, collected by Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager and Google Ads and Google tag.
3. How We Collect Data
- Direct Interaction: When you voluntarily complete a form on our website, which is processed by Web3Forms. We also collect information when you book through our third-party booking system.
- Automated Technologies: Cookies and similar technologies, described below.
4. Why We Collect & Use Your Information
- Provide the information, quotes, or services you requested.
- Manage Bookings: Process and schedule your bookings and send related notifications.
- Marketing: Where you have opted in, send newsletters or promotional material. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link. In compliance with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth), our marketing emails carry a clear, working unsubscribe link.
- Improvement: Understand how the site is used so we can make it more useful.
5. Health Information
Our practitioners deliver myotherapy, remedial massage, osteopathy, chiropractic and cosmetic nursing services. Doing that means collecting information about your body, symptoms, medical history and treatment. Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) that is sensitive information, and it is handled to a higher standard than ordinary contact details:
- We collect it only with your consent, and only where it is reasonably necessary to assess or treat you.
- Clinical notes, treatment history and appointment records are kept in Cliniko, our practice management system, not in this website.
- Where a treatment requires a referral, a prescription, or contact with your GP or another practitioner, we share only what that specific purpose needs, and only with your consent.
- We do not disclose health information for marketing, and we never pass it to our analytics or advertising providers.
- Health records are retained for the period Australian law requires of a health service provider — generally seven years from your last visit, and for a patient who was a minor, until they turn 25.
6. AI-Assisted Clinical Documentation
Your practitioner may use handwritten notes, voice-to-text transcription, or — with your knowledge — a secure audio recording of the consultation to help document your appointment. AI converts that into a draft clinical note, which your treating practitioner reviews, edits where required and approves before anything is saved to your record.
- Audio recordings are permanently deleted once the notes are finalised.
- The AI platform is securely hosted within Australia.
- Your information is not retained by the AI provider and is not used to train, develop or improve AI models.
- Only the minimum information needed to prepare the documentation is processed through it.
Our clinic policies cover this and our cancellation, payment and communication terms in more detail.
7. Analytics & Advertising

These are not currently gated behind a consent banner. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, adjust Meta’s advertising settings in your Facebook ad preferences, and block or delete cookies in your browser at any time.
8. Disclosure to Third Parties

We take reasonable steps to ensure that any overseas recipient handles your personal information in accordance with the APPs.
